Vampyros Roussos Open Your Eyes The Belgians Cosmic Trip Machine is two persons and they play amazing music. Among a feast of psychedelic, space, krautrock, pop, folk, electronic and eastern sounds, they offer us a magical journey, their own interplanetary trip soundtrack. Their typical ease with playing and bonding all the styles above is truly remarkable. And of course the masterpieces are plenty. The eastern fairytale zorba goes to hell for example could have been recorded in `67, while the flashback/tropicalian gnome is one of the most psychedelic and tripping songs that I have ever heard! Masterpiece!! Also the psychedelic-folk vampires (begin), the funk psychedelic twist, the electrical space arabesque forest/lost island and generally all the songs seem like they have been written by genius minds (and so they are)!
